Water enthusiasts will enjoy the Boathouse’s selection of kayaks, tandem kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards available for rent at $10 to $12 per hour. Pomme De Terre Lake, located about 50 miles north of Springfield, stretches over 12 miles and features 113 acres of shoreline ideal for fishing and boating. The lake’s outskirts are dotted with hidden gems, including a lakeside restaurant, ice cream shops, and locally-owned stores and convenience shops. Visitors can also rent lakeside cabins and yurts during the season for a comfortable stay.

Farm Rd 68 Springfield, MO

For a serene fishing experience, McDaniel Lake is situated north of Springfield on the Little Sac River, stretching from the dam to the low water bridge on Farm Road 68.
